Lacemakers of Central Ohio (LOCO)
We are a small group of Bobbin Lacemakers that meets on Wednesday mornings from 9-12 at the Gillie Center on Morse Rd in Columbus. Anyone is welcome to join us!
Bobbin Lace is one method in which lace has been made since the 1500's. Individual bobbins are attached to individual threads and manipulated in a weaving technique.
Affectionately called LOCO, we are a charter chapter of IOLI.
We demonstrate at a number of venues throughout the year and periodically host lace workshops.
